Tinubu And The Dangers Of Nine

Time is the best consideration in definition of any matters however the past might demand restitution - Tinubu has not been really away from the two: time and restitution; nevertheless the monthly pressure's efficacies are indispensable of as air. He, Tinubu, and his crop of cabinet of irresolute politicians {as the fuel prices are not yet at the minimal level} should by now anyway shift not the blame on the past dispensation: the probes should be work of EFCC - no doubt, thereby the perpetratings of probing and blaming the infrastructure-proned Buharism are nothing than a galactic perturbation in burrying the governmental evil of deceiving the masses via the conceited politicking regrettably pronounced at Eagle Square. The affirmative action they need to facilitate has been for them to engineer the fuel price reduction due to the fact that only time defines us all; and from it, time, we enact our way despite the national challenges. Focusing on his mistakes - of the wrong nomination, and before that time, the conceited deadly politicking etched recklessly at the all-awaited Inauguration by removing the subsidy ere the refineries in completion - will help him and his cabinet to exhaust eight years with only liberty left which could architect the party a lingering force that will always repress the London-folly men of the expostulated Umbrella who have been making the Broom men unconscious of that fragility of governance whilst their unconstitutional activities against the economic policy {the Policy which is generally directed to achieve four major goals: stabilizing markets, promoting economic prosperity, ensuring business development, and promoting employment}. The fragility could be further fashioned by not paying attention to time and public somewhat labour pressure instigated from Ibadan being peculiar in term of Nigeria's political paradigm structure - no oblivion is observed: protesters recently stretched the fragility even in Niger State,Ondo State, Plateau State, Bayelsa State, even in Abuja; all against the human-consideration-effaced higher fuel prices. From protest to more than a coup d'etat: as the military ought to have made a wrong forecast instead the territorial protection in which any unpatriotic collaboration might be a paramount loss negating the coup averting measures. Tinubu must only avert the masses' mouthpiece: 'Has it been what we voted for!' in reference to ''It's our turn''. As Tinubu will be averting that, the masses must realize not compliants save the nation however being of every right-deed: from not inflicting the self-increased prices, to being time-conscious, now that time is supernaturally overseeing the Republic into an all-experienced liberty. This will not be of scarcity, as the fuel, despite the exorbitant prices, howell a plethora of superabundance serving nemesis on Tinubu if does not retract the prices even before the refineries are put in all-excellent shapes where no subsidy removal deception can hide, and absolutely bring the fuel prices to more minimal level chasing away ever the hyper inflation that has been rampant in every market of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, thanks!

IF: Who Would Welcome The Time-Affected Eagles?

Ivory Coast produced a fairytale ending to the most remarkable run at the Africa Cup of Nations as Sebastian Haller’s winner completed a 2-1 comeback win over Nigeria in the final. The hosts lost two of their group-stage matches, sacked their manager and then pulled off a penalty-shootout victory and a 122nd-minute winner on their way to booking an improbable place in the final.
For the fifth time this century, the finalists of an Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) have emerged from the same group, although on this occasion neither of them actually topped Group A! Drawn as the ‘home team’ for this final but with the majority of the 60,000 spectators in Abidjan’s Alassane Ouattara Stadium against them, Nigeria have already demonstrated they know how to silence a hostile crowd when they defeated host nation Ivory Coast 1-0 at this very venue last month. That was to be the first of five consecutive games at this tournament in which they didn’t concede a single goal from open play, illustrating where their strengths lie in their pursuit of a fourth AFCON crown. It was a semi-final penalty shootout against South Africa that propelled them into their first AFCON final since winning the tournament in 2013, however later they could not avoid a repeat of the previous AFCON to take place in Ivory Coast, when they finished as runners-up. Even the most optimistic football fan from the Ivory Coast must have thought their AFCON dreams went up in smoke two weeks ago. The host nation scraped through a near-disastrous group stage campaign (W1, L2) in which they claimed the 16th and last place in the knockouts. But they rallied to knock out reigning champions Senegal in the last 16, before a quarter-final win over Mali booked a semi-final date with DR Congo, who they beat 1-0 to secure just their second regulation time win of the entire tournament and book their spot in their first AFCON final since their 2015 title. In doing so, the now three-time AFCON champions became the first host nation since Egypt in 2006 to reach the final match of the tournament. Egypt lifted the trophy in that edition after a penalty shootout win over Ivory Coast, whose playing squad featured current caretaker manager Emerse Faé. Perhaps spurred on by the heartbreak of that final loss, and the recent defeat to Nigeria, Faé has been careful to assert that it’s necessarily their ‘destiny’ to win a home AFCON with time. But as home nations have had a 4-2 record in AFCON finals ere the night, they held a significant advantage later in the day!

The 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)

Mali take on Africa Cup of Nations hosts Ivory Coast at Stade de la Paix on Saturday, keen to progress from the quarter-finals
Mali took a huge stride towards realising their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) ambitions by defeating neighbours Burkina Faso 2-1 in the Round of 16. That set up not only this exciting quarter-final clash against the host nation Ivory Coast, but it also ended a run of three successive AFCON tournaments in which they exited at the Round of 16 stage. They’ll now be hoping to take the next step on the road to their first AFCON final since 1972 and will be full of confidence that they can advance to the last four after another robust defensive showing on Tuesday night meant they conceded just two goals from their four games in the tournament so far (W2, D2). Mali have also kept clean sheets in two of their last four meetings with their opponents, but no win in that period will be a concern (D2, L2). Ivory Coast booked their place in the quarter-finals after coming out victorious following a nail-biting penalty shootout win over reigning AFCON champions Senegal (1-1). It’s just what the home nation needed after a rather uninspiring campaign in which their opening round 2-0 win against Guinea-Bissau is their only regulation time victory at this year’s tournament (D1, L2). This poor showing cost the previous manager Jean-Louis Gasset his job, with Emerse Faé being appointed the new interim boss ahead of that tight win against Senegal. Faé, who played 41 times for the Elephants, admitted he felt great “pressure” taking on the job at short notice, and that tension will only intensify as he’s tasked next with trying to guide Ivory Coast to their first AFCON semi-final since winning the tournament in 2015. But with their two defeats in the group stage against Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria proving their only losses from their past ten internationals, Faé might hope it won’t take much to get his side back to their best.
